The topic applies to a term like "decentralization" which can have political, philosophical and ultimately multi-varied/Rashomon like experience.

The question should be what is the objective function one wants to achieve, through which decentralization can be measured or be a constraint.

Then the protocol should have that designed IF that is truly important.
